Jim Tedesco brings a unique combination of technical depth, strategic leadership, and entrepreneurial experience to IETRND’s global initiatives.
His expertise spans Analog/Digital Electronics, Signal and Image Processing, and Algorithm Development across industries from oil & gas to biomedical engineering.
Earlier in his career, Jim co-developed advanced diagnostic technologies for Shell through Sygnology, where he helped design the proprietary Feature Extraction System and multi-segmented linear modeling tools used to detect early-stage equipment damage in subsea production systems. These proof-of-concept systems successfully detected equipment condition indicators before failure, improved reliability, and generated over $14 million in documented value. Building on this foundation, Jim now leads IET in advancing these capabilities into a next-generation predictive maintenance platform nearing full commercialization.
